At Double D BBQ, we believe great barbecue starts with quality ingredients and a whole lot of heart. Every rub and sauce we make is locally sourced, small-batch crafted, and designed to help the backyard cook take their bar-b-que to the next level.
Everything we sell is something we’ve personally used on our own smokers and tested at our Monday Night Grub & Games gatherings — where friends, good food, and plenty of flavor come together.
Dennis Daily (Double D) discovered his passion for cooking early on, always chasing the challenge of making each meal “just a little better than last time.” When those Monday nights began, Dennis started mixing seasonings for whatever cut of meat hit the grill. When friends kept asking, “What rub did you use?” — and he kept answering, “I don’t know, I just threw some stuff together” — he realized it was time to start writing things down.
The blends and sauces we offer today are the result of countless backyard experiments and years of perfecting every recipe. From the first sprinkle to the last bite, we hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

About Our Cottage Industry Status
Double D BBQ operates under Minnesota’s Cottage Food Producer Law, which means all of our rubs and sauces are made right here in our home kitchen — in small batches, with care, and using the same ingredients we serve to family and friends.
As a Minnesota cottage food business, we’re able to sell directly to customers at local markets, events, and right here in Minnesota. While we can’t ship or sell online across state lines (yet!), every jar and bottle you buy comes straight from our kitchen to your table — fresh, handcrafted, and made with pride.
